Does Anyone Else See Wilson?!?
I can't believe that it was almost a month ago that I stopped by Captain James Crabhouse in Baltimore (Canton) to take in the breeze and view by the water. Per usual, I was looking for a memorable experience and to live with intention. This fit the bill.
“Sometimes, the reality is it's too hot, the bugs try to get ya' and in this case a snake in the water tried to MURDER ME!”
I enjoyed some calamari and a cold beer at the inside bar so that I could eat bug free and as it seems, snake free. No joke! I'll get to that later. I took pics and video to capture the moment and chatted it up with a few folks at the bar.
Now, it's been awhile since I've been to Captain James Crabhouse. My Bday "twin", affectionately known as Big B, used to have the biggest birthday celebrations on the deck. Family and friends from all over flocked annually to celebrate Big B and her generosity to enjoy good eats, catch up with fam and take in the sites. Those memories are the best and led me back to the spot.
After I chilled for a bit inside with Wilson the Volleyball from the movie Cast Away staring back at me, I contemplated whether I would sit outside for awhile or head on out. As much as I love being by the water, I love the fantasy version of it. Sometimes, the reality is it's too hot, the bugs try to get ya' and in this case a snake in the water tried to MURDER ME! Well, not really murder me, but I just knew that he was going to make his way out of the water and up the deck to join me. Thank goodness it decided to mind its own business as I minded mine. Otherwise, I would NOT have made it!
Needless to say, I had a great time soaking it all in and there were no casualties. I'm so looking forward to exploring other cities with LBDSAW to bring you some of the best views, food, conversations and experiences around. As I continue to chase peace, I plan to take you all along for the wonderfully joyous ride! Are you ready?!? Let's Go!
