The Guide: The Shops at Crystals

Shopping Mall

I loved every moment of being at The Shops at Crystals! It took me back through decades during the times I fell in love with fashion. I grew up going to the Ebony Fashion Fair which was a touring show created by the late Eunice Johnson, wife of publisher John H. Johnson who passed away in 2005. Designers like Versace (one of my early favs), Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana lined the 500,000 sq. ft mall. The sights brought a smile to my face as if I were a kid reveling in a candy store!

Every square inch of the mall is thoughtfully designed with art installations, restaurants and more -- leading up to the beauty of a hotel which is ARIA. Each of your senses will be ignited & delighted as you move from glass door to glass door.

Take a stroll through luxury! Make sure your wallet is stacked and ready to run wild, because it can be a wild & pricey ride! Without spending a thing, I thoroughly enjoyed strolling down memory lane and capturing these wonderful images to share with you all. When it's time, my shopping bags will be filled with little treasures from these designer greats. In the meantime, in between time, the memories of it all will suit me just fine. Carry on!
