“Dine out more often. Add those activities. Get the waterview (with a balcony). Do all of the things." - MRM x LBDSAW
QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE:
Your Budget
1. Low: Check transportation prices early and often. Put hotel stays on hold with
Reserve Now/Pay Later options. Go to places that are walkable to avoid
unneccesary transportation costs.
2. Mid: Spend more money on the experiences rather than just getting there. Stay at a hotel that has all that you need without having to leave.
3. High: Dine out more often. Add those activities. Get the waterview (with a balcony).Do all of the things.
The Checklist
4. Make your list. Check it twice. Ok, 3 times. A list of all the things that you will need & want to take/pack for your trip will lessen the stress. The credit cards, IDs, chargers,
toiletries, laptop, etc. Put it all on The List.
5. Revise your list to narrow down and eliminate anything unneccesary.
6. Create your list as early as possible. Check it over before you head out. The more you plan and use The List, the less you’ll need to truly depend on it. As the saying
goes, before you know it, It will all feel like riding a bike.
Where to?
7. Deciding on where you want to go may be an impulsive decision or planned.
Decide whether you want to travel by land, road or sea, then do your research to
set it in motion.
8. Travel to hot places off season to beat the heat. It’s summer somewhere!
9. Staycations can be the best, budget friendly and just what you may need for a
last minute recharge. Don’t count it out.
Bonus Tip
10. Budget: Know how much you want/have to spend. Take care of the needs before the wants. The Checklist: Used properly, it is a tool that will save you a lot of
headache and disappointment. Make it a Travel LifeStyle Choice versus being a
chore. Where to?: Travel within your country can save on a lot of costs and red tape.Do your research or ask a travel advisor for assistance creating the best travel
experience.
