We asked Vena our Signature Spotlight questions and this is what she had to say:
LBDSAW: Choose 3 words to describe yourself.
VENA: Supportive, Creative, Optimistic
LBDSAW: How would you describe your personal style?
VENA: I would describe my Personal Style as Classic Chic with a touch of Elegance.
LBDSAW: If you are a salad lover, tell us what you'd have in your Signature Salad.
VENA: My signature salad would include an assortment of mixed greens with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, candied pecans, strawberries and vinaigrette dressing.
LBDSAW: If you are a wine lover, do you prefer red or white?
VENA: Sweet Red, please.
LBDSAW: If you were to create a signature cocktail, what would be in it (with or without alcohol works)?
VENA: Mixed Berry Tea Bourbon Sour garnished with Spice Strawberry sugar rim.
LBDSAW: Where is your favorite place to dine?
VENA: Houston's Restaurant in Bethesda, MD
LBDSAW: What travel destination has been your favorite?
VENA: Liberia, Costa Rica
LBDSAW: Where haven't you been that you'd like to explore?
VENA: Fiji
LBDSAW: What makes you feel the happiest? (Not a person)
VENA: I feel the happiest when I am just relaxing while watching Action Movies or Reality TV shows or taking scenic routes on warm days.
LBDSAW: What do you enjoy most about being a Tea Connoisseur?
VENA: I enjoy being a Tea Connoisseur because it allows me to share health benefits of consuming tea as well as transforming coffee drinkers into tea sippers.
LBDSAW: What advice would you give to someone pursuing their passion & purpose?
VENA: One piece of advice I would recommend to someone pursuing their passion/purpose is to understand that mistakes and losses may come; however, remember to continue to fight through those adversities and appreciate even the smallest wins. At the end of the day, STEEP through Mess, SIP at each Win & SAVOR each Moment with your business.
LBDSAW: What's next for you?
VENA: SpiritualiTEAS is always open and willing to explore new avenues to expose current and new tea lovers to the tea world. The goal is to continue to set up in spaces, hold events, curate unique tailored gifts and pursue future plans of opening a tea café that hires at-risk youth.
