The City That Never Sleeps...
Ok, so there is WAY TOO MUCH to experience and say about New York...even in a trip that is planned just for the day. I will do my best to highlight this trip below. Deep breath... Here we go!!

Times Square: Years ago, you could drive on Broadway near Marriott Marquis. I remember, of course, because I yearly-frequented NYC, but I also did an EPIC photo shoot with our In the Spotlight guest, D'Kia Anderson and my bro', Will (I'll have to find and post those pics). Now, it's a designated spot for folks to wander and snap pics of everything from superheroes to colossal digital billboards to the THOUSANDS of comings-and-goers that will surely cross their paths. I snapped away and captured as much as I could to share with you all. Here are just a few highlights.
Marriott Marquis: Performances begin of The Wiz at the Marriott Theater on March 29, 2024. The 8th Floor Lobby is a sight to see. The Iconic pod-like elevators lead all the way up to the equally iconic rooftop The View Restaurant & Lounge. I didn't go this time around, but I'll be back!! Further enjoy the 8th floor which has been newly renovated and still has one of the best views of Times Square at the NYC Broadway Lounge.
W Hotel: I had to swing by fairly quickly to see if anything had changed much since my last visit. It had! You enter the lobby to an amazing water feature before heading up to the lobby and the Living Room to check-in and/or relax. The space has a new design, but it truly felt like I was at home as it brought back wonderful memories of cocktail sips, good vibes and time spent in the city.
