The first two times that I visited Burbank, I pretty much stayed in while traveling back to the east coast (post-COVID) or was at Universal Studios Lot for some ultra unexpected joy experiences (pre-COVID). Can we make some new Universal Studios Lot joy happen again, folks?!? I'm claiming it!
This time around, I experienced unexpected joy by just walking the few blocks from my previous stays and exploring the town. As I walked along N San Fernando BLVD with Festival goers, I noticed Artelice Patisserie was closing up shop for the day. I was invited in by one of the business partners, Kambiz, to take a look around. He and his associate were amazing! I told him that I don't often crave sweets but love a good treat every now again. And, a treat I received. I had the yummiest, most beautifully hand-crafted pastries that you'll ever see. Don't just take my word for it.
