Convention Center
The Georgia World Congress Center is a beautiful space that hosts over a million visitors each year. I was one such visitor who was able to experience the incredible convention presented by the National Association of Black Engineers. I was there to support my speaker friend as she engaged a room full of guests seeking to gain perspective & support around the sensitive topic of grief & loss. She was amazing!
The Convention Center is massive with exhibit halls, endless amounts of meeting rooms, outdoor plazas, a fancy food court and so much more. Another treat is an up-close view of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium which looks like an alien spaceship from Independence Day (The Movie) landed on the highway. No alien sightings occured on this trip!
