The Guide: Union Station (Washington, D.C.)

Updated: Jun 17

Train Station

On this LBDSAW journey, I've traveled through Union Station D.C. to use transportation services to and from many destinations. Amtrak, MARC, Metro Rail, Megabus, Uber...I've experienced them all! There are so many shops and good eats at the station that I often miss because of early, early morning or overnight travel. My yummy salad was from Potbelly! I haven't tried Chopt yet, but I look forward to building a signature salad on my next visit through Union Station. I'll be sure to check out more of what the station has to offer and share, too.

I was so excited to be at the station while the shops were still open that I had to stop in at Laderach. I don't even crave sweets, but the presentation drew me in. The FrischSchoggi samples that I tasted were incredible. They are beautifully crafted chocolates mixed with nut varieties that simply spark joy! Ahhh... I'll be back for more.

Be sure to check out The Wharf/District Square post for TONS of destination choices for the next time you hit the nation's capital.
